The mobile banking app is available on iOS and Android in some 27 retail markets globally and Cube Impact was assigned to assist in the management and deployment of the app in those markets as well as own and deliver key app features such as push notifications and live chat. This also included requirements analysis, tracking, defect resolution, traceability and storyboarding to produce agreed screen designs and user journeys by working closely with UX designers, developers, legal / compliance and offshore teams to manage deployment activities globally. Stakeholder management was a critical success factor with teams around the world often working to different priorities.
On the project management side, Cube Impact took ownership of and prepared all formal PMO documents and formal sign-off from stakeholders and sponsors for key business decisions encompassing governance, chairing working group meetings and mitigating both operational and delivery risk.
Responsible for the functional design of client and user management, entitlements, security, authentication and business workflow processes for a greenfield digital e-Commerce portal serving over 10,000 corporate clients and institutions. Artefacts produced included detailed functional specifications, functional application model and design, flow diagrams, use cases, wireframes, acceptance criteria and business requirements traceability matrices.
Cube Impact also devised a strategic deployment plan to install core framework components in a scalable and manageable process to deliver tangible business benefits and minimise delivery risk. Business process modelling with change/demand governance ensured captured requirements aligned with functional design whilst driving business stakeholder demand on the UI improved the end user experience by working closely with UX designers, developers and technical architects to deliver shippable code.
Lead business analysis with governance throughout the full two year project lifecycle to deliver a workflow solution that fully automated the onboarding process for new clients to FX trading. This encompassed the full KYC procedure from preparing legal agreements and setting up counterparties to SSO authentication and configuring products. Stakeholders comprised the Sales and Trading desks across multiple local markets with successful delivery of the greenfield workflow solution reducing the existing manual onboarding procedure timescales from a matter of days to just a few hours.
Business analysis activities included requirements gathering and prioritisation, functional specifications, workflow design, interface and wireframe design, testing, post implementation support and managing the Scrum development environment. A further measure of success was the increase and volume of portal registrations together with the MI provided by Cube Impact that identified how clients could be best monetised.
Cube Impact formed part of a dedicated global team assigned with migrating all research subscribers, with associated meta-data, from a US specific CRM to the strategic global technology platform based in the UK. As a key critical success factor, the US datasets needed to be analysed, optimised, cleaned and then merged into the global platform by matching data and eliminating any potential duplication to avoid data redundancy.
Cube Impact carried out extensive data analysis fully utilising a range of SQL and VBA skills to write data matching algorithms and also identifying possible duplications at a more granular level where unique keys could not be matched. The conclusion of this project resulted in over a million subscribers successfully migrated to the global CRM platform over a period of just two weekends with minimal downtime outside business hours to reduce operational risk. A further success factor was the quality of the improved MI reporting that helped Relationship Managers identify cross selling opportunities.
Engaged to project manage several IT initiatives within capital markets delivering new and enhanced web applications as part of an extensive rebranding exercise and launch of a new strategic technology platform. A large remit that encompassed many different business areas from delivering book building tools for the Japanese syndication team to providing a one-click platform for publishing government bond and inflation research.
The project required building key strategic relationships to drive the initiative whilst also managing expectations and acting as the conduit between the front office and development teams. Cube Impact performed a hybrid project manager and business analysis role together with managing co-located IT development teams based locally and offshore. The overall success of the initiative was recognised by Euromoney who awarded several fixed income web portal applications as "best in class".
